By paying any invoice received or completing the checkout process, you, the purchaser, agree to the following terms and conditions so please READ THEM CAREFULLY. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, do not pay this invoice or complete checkout and contact The Sacred Succulent (sometimes referred to herein as "we", "our", and "us") immediately.
You are purchasing live plants based on pictures submitted by us over the internet. The appearance and condition of the plants are as-of the purchase date and, upon arrival to you, the exact color, size and condition of the item may vary from the picture due to time in transit, shipping conditions, picture quality, etc. -- this is normal and plants will usually make a full recovery from the shock of being shipped.
We package your items in a manner that will give them the best chance of surviving a shipment and deliver your package to the carrier (ie. USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.) within 48 hours of you paying this invoice. After we deliver your package to the carrier, we are no longer responsible for any damage due to carrier handling, shipping delays, environmental conditions or any other element that is out of our control. For that reason, we insure every package for at least $100 or the value of the purchase. You can track your package via the applicable carrier’s website with the tracking number we provide to you. We cannot control the frequency with which carriers update their tracking website. Better tracking capabilities generally require upgraded service levels at an additional cost so please tell us if you prefer a premium shipping service. For delivery to cold climates, heat packs are available for purchase – please let us know if you want to add this to your order.
Please inspect your items upon receipt. If you have any concerns with the items, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery confirmation by the carrier so we can help you take care of your living purchase. Please provide clear pictures of all plants received, as well as the box and shipping label. If your items are damaged during transit – for whatever reason – you will need to file a claim with the carrier. We cannot file the claim on your behalf. Once your items have been in your possession for more than 48 hours after delivery confirmation and you have not advised us of any issues or concerns, the items are no longer eligible for refund or replacement. However, your satisfaction is especially important to us so we encourage you to contact us anytime you are concerned about your purchase so we can try to help you get it resolved. Fraudulent claims via social media, PayPal resolution center, etc. will not be tolerated. This type of behavior will result in cancellation of current orders and an immediate ban from any future purchases from us and will be subject to criminal and/or civil action. We take this issue very seriously.
If you have purchased an item labeled as a “rehab” plant, please note that, at the time of your purchase, these plants are not in perfect health and, as a result, are sold at a discounted price. These rehab plants are more susceptible to the shock of being shipped and can be difficult to care for if you are not experienced with rehabilitating plants. By completing this purchase, you acknowledge the risk of purchasing a rehab plant and waive any claim against us for the condition of the rehab plant upon arrival.
If you have purchased an item labeled as a “cutting”, please note that all cuttings are UNROOTED unless otherwise stated. Cuttings are more susceptible to the shock of being shipped and can be difficult to root and/or care for if you are not experienced with cuttings. By completing this purchase, you acknowledge the risk of purchasing a cutting and waive any claim against us for the condition of the cutting upon arrival.
